UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT - The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,300 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation.  High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.

Personalized certificates of scholastic achievement are sent to those who earned highest honors distinction.

Bismarck State College

BISMARCK, ND – Rachel Schroepfer, Ellsworth, has been named to the Bismarck State College President's Honor Roll for the Spring 2024 semester.

Students must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point on a 4.00 scale while enrolled in at least 12 semester hours of classes to qualify for the BSC President's Honor Roll.

Kutztown University

KUTZTOWN, Penn. – Freshman Rhi Stutz completed a successful first season on the Kutztown University women's golf team by earning All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference status, as voted on by the head coaches and released by the conference office Wednesday, May 29.

Stutz was named Second Team. The two All-PSAC selections are the most for the Golden Bears since 2018.

Stutz, a freshman from Prescott, helped lead KU all season, specifically at PSACs, where the team placed fourth overall. She finished in the top-10 in the field at PSAC Championships. Stutz shot a 5-over par 77 to collect her first collegiate tournament victory at the ESU Spring Invitational, earning that week's PSAC Golf Athlete of the Week.

Rhi Stutz, Prescott, was among 1,987 students named to the Spring 2024 Dean’s List at Kutztown University.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

University of Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, ND – Mikayla Afdahl has earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Jamestown.

Afdahl, of Elmwood, was among more than 100 students honored at UJ's College of Graduate and Professional Students commencement ceremony May 4, 2024, in Harold Newman Arena.

Iowa State University

AMES, Iowa - More than 4,450 graduates received degrees from Iowa State University this spring. Graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies were held May 9-11 at Hilton Coliseum.

Of the 4,455 students who graduated in May, a total of 4,591 degrees were awarded (3,884 undergraduate, 552 graduate and 155 professional) with some students earning multiple degrees.

ATCHISON, Kan. - Marie Gannon, of Prescott, has graduated Summa Cum Laude from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, majoring in Liberal Studies.

The college graduated 485 students at the end of the academic year during ceremonies on May 11, 2024. It was the largest graduating class in the school's history.

Students who earn a 4.0 grade point average, which represents all “A” grades, receive highest honors. High honors go to students earning 3.99 to 3.75 grade point averages. Honors are given to students earning 3.74 to 3.50 grade point averages.  All were full-time students in the fall/winter term, earning 12 or more credits of graded coursework. WAVERLY, IOWA – Ella Johnson of Prescott was named to the Wartburg College Winter/May Term Dean's List.

The college recognized 466 students for Winter/May Term.

The list honors students who earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or above in at least five course credits during the terms. Four of the five course credits have to be graded with a traditional letter grade.

Illinois Wesleyan University

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Madeline Johnson, of Prescott, was named to the Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2023-24 academic year at Illinois Wesleyan University. Johnson is a senior majoring in Vocal Performance.

Johnson was among 760 students from 29 states and 29 countries named to the Spring 2024 Dean's List.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight As.
