ELLSWORTH – Pierce Pepin Cooperative Services (PPCS) announces Dave French as its newly created Director of Marketing and Growth position. French is a long-time Prescott community member and founded River City Stitch. French was most recently the Marketing Director for LS Black Contractors, responsible for developing the marketing strategy and the overall communications plan. French has experience with industry-leading companies such as Toro, Marvin Windows and Doors, and Smead Company.

“We had several quality candidates that applied, including many from our community. Dave’s vision, experience, and alignment with our culture will be a great asset to PPCS and SwiftCurrent Connect,” said Nate Boettcher, PPCS president and CEO. 

French joins PPCS at a critical time as the cooperative continues to build out its broadband subsidiary SwiftCurrent Connect, enhances its communications, and broadens its energy services business. 

Boettcher added, “Dave’s experience as an entrepreneur, community member, and innovative mindset will help continue our success as we move the cooperative forward to better serve our community members.”

French joined the cooperative on Tuesday, May 28. As Director of Marketing and Growth, French will lead the communications area, participate in community events, and engage with its member-owners to ensure the cooperative meets their needs.
