PRESCOTT – Prescott High School Principal Josh Fiege was selected as the recipient of the 2023 Wisconsin Music Educators Association (WMEA) Distinguished Administrator Award.
In 1991, WMEA established a special distinguished service award for school administrators. This is their 32nd year honoring school leaders who make a significant difference.
Fiege was nominated by PHS Choir Director Brittany Kamrath, along with several Prescott High School staff and a student in recognition of his effort to create an environment in the Prescott School District where educators feel valued and supported.
“The ways that he supports each staff member is above and beyond what anyone could ask of a principal. He makes time to help us on his most demanding days and always does the right thing for kids,” stated Kamrath.
This year’s award winners will be highlighted as part of the 2023 Wisconsin State Music Conference at the President’s Welcome Reception on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023.
