The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for May 22 is Prescott High School senior Ava Franco, selected by the Prescott Community Club.
“Ava was chosen by the Prescott Community Club to be the 2024 recipient of the Prescott Community Club Scholarship,” a news release states. “This scholarship recognizes students for outstanding service to the community. Ava, thank you for all you have done for our school district and the community! Good luck to you on your future endeavors!”
Ava is the child of Maria and Josias Franco. This honor roll students plays softball and golf and is a member of the Student Council. She participates in Bible study, volunteers at Feed My Starving Children, cleans rooms at the Port of Prescott Hotel and babysits. She enjoys hiking, pickleball, playing Wii, golfing, boating and playing the guitar.
She plans to attend UW-Stout for a degree in packaging engineering.
