To the editor,
Hudson Pride held its first festival in 2023 on the Saturday before the Twin Cities events. The inaugural festival was a family-friendly, positive and affirming event that was supported by a broad cross section of the business, non-profit and faith communities and brought visibility to our growing community.
To complement the Hudson festival, we are expanding Pride activities to include engagement throughout the St. Croix River valley from Franconia to Prescott during the third weekend in June 21-23.
For 2024, we are planning to host a “Queer Crawl” that will direct visitors to local LGBTQ+ friendly businesses and events in the Saint Croix Valley region area.
We would love to have your support and engagement in bringing visitors and visibility to Pride in River Falls and throughout the St. Croix valley. This is an incredible opportunity to work together as a region to showcase the outstanding businesses and organizations that make up our community.
