ELMWOOD – Get ready for the week-long 43rd annual UFO Days celebration July 26-31, complete with several new event additions paying homage to the village’s unique history.

While all events are sure to entertain, UFO buffs will especially enjoy Saturday’s UFO sightings bus tour, leaving on the hour from noon to 3 p.m. from the Legion Park alley. The hour-long bus tour takes visitors around rural Elmwood to several sighting sites, including the quarry, Tom Forster’s former home and County Road S.

Make sure to save a seat in the auditorium Saturday for UW-Stout retired professor Bill Johnson’s program on UFOs & Elmwood – A Legacy, as well as Daniel Thomas of ufodays.net intriguing “Elmwood Encounters.”

The celebration kicks off 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 26 with a customer appreciation dinner, sponsored by Citizens State Bank, in the Elmwood Auditorium (323 W.
