To the editor,
I want to thank the Journal for researching and publishing the informative article on CAFOs and the real truth about their operations, per the owners.
For weeks we have heard "hear-say" and assumptions about the issues and problems with farm cooperatives. So, it was a relief to understand the standards and precautions they are required to follow. It is easy to get caught up in emotionally driven rhetoric from a one-sided perspective. We should always try to understand all the viewpoints but especially to look for the facts.
