Letter to the editor: Do we want MN light?

To the editor,

Of the many reasons Minnesotans move across the St. Croix and Mississippi rivers, getting away from policies that support big taxes, big welfare, sanctuary cities, progressive education, and insane abortion policies are at the top.

To them, our so-called “purple” state has a more common-sense and just approach to legislation, taxation, law enforcement, and protection of all human rights, including those of the unborn and parents of the already born.

On April 4, we can choose to keep our common sense, justice-for-all humanitarian state by electing a Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice who understands why our laws are carefully and constitutionally written, not intended for manipulation and massage based on social trends.

Dan Kelly is that person. He has experience on the court and a strong background in constitutional law.

If you want higher crime, more welfare-without-work recipients, abortion on demand for nine months of pregnancy, abortion pills available to minors without parental consent, an end to concealed carry, more gun ownership regulations, state-level public health mandates, reduced bail and sentencing for criminals, no election integrity legislation, eroding religious freedoms and an end to school choice, put another activist judge on the Supreme Court.

That is NOT Dan Kelly.

Janet Protasiewicz avoids debating legal issues because she is determined to rule according to personal feelings, not constitutionality. A majority of Supreme Court of Wisconsin justices ruling that way for 10 years could change Wisconsin permanently.

Where will unhappy Minnesotans move then?
