Quit complaining
To the editor,
I need to applaud your column, "Step up or shut up," from the Aug. 16 edition of the Journal. It's become very apparent to me that the electronic forms of media have greatly made way for complaining by people who do not want to get involved, even though it's of very high interest for them.
Pointing the finger at others and things has become the easy way out of personal dissatisfaction. Step up and quit complaining. If you want it done another way, or if you just want it done, get involved and make a difference. You can't always sit on the sidelines and expect others to do it all for you. Not only that, but by actively helping out with the process, one feels good and satisfaction prevails!
