Lutefisk lovers - where are you?

TOWN OF ELLSWORTH – Are there many people left in the area that still like to eat lutefisk? The number is probably decreasing but Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in the Beldenville area still wants to provide lutefisk for those fish lovers out there.

Their tradition is in their 76th year of providing a typical Scandinavian dinner of lutefisk, riced potatoes with meatballs and gravy, potato lefse, coleslaw salad, grøt pudding, and Norwegian cookies like krumkake and sandbackels.

Gone are the days when the church was serving 1,500 people. They are limiting tickets sold now to 480. The church has gone computerized with requiring reservations online.  Reservations are from 2-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, found on a link at oursaviorschurch.info.

Price is $20 for adults and $12 for teens and $7 child. The price has remained the same as last year.  Seats are going fast so get your reservations in now.
