The following incidents were reported to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office July 1-6.

Friday, July 1

At 8:40 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious truck driving up the driveway at W5835 760th Ave., Beldenville. The caller got a plate number and wanted the incident documented. It was possibly a utility worker.

Saturday, July 2

At 3:03 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle near Main and Johnson streets in River Falls for defective exhaust and speeding. The driver was arrested for violating absolute sobriety laws and cited for transporting passengers on a probationary license after midnight. Both passengers were cited for underage drinking and one was cited for possession of open intoxicants.

At 9:51 a.m., a woman reported a possibly stolen iPad and cell phone at N7652 650th St., Beldenville. The items may have been misplaced. A family member arrived to help.

Police responded at 3:29 p.m. to a trespassing, garbage dumping and burglary complaint in the area of Highway 35 and County Road K, Hager City. Evidence was collected and extra patrol requested.

At 4 p.m., a resident at W1002 Highway 72, Elmwood, reported that his neighbor’s dog injured his cat. He said if the dog comes on his property again, he’ll shoot it. The neighbor was advised and warned to keep the dog tied up.

At 5:11 p.m., a caller reported backing into an electrical pole at 608 W. Winter Ave., Elmwood.

At 6:40 p.m., police took a report of a resident striking another resident at N5335 760th St., Ellsworth.

Police responded to a suspicious activity report at 10:22 p.m. at N7861 920th St., River Falls. Nothing was located.

Officers were dispatched to a fireworks complaint at 11:03 p.m. at W9396 637th Ave., Ellsworth. There were no fireworks going off when police arrived; the owner did not come to the door.

Sunday, June 3

Deputies assisted River Falls police with two people found in the Glen Park swimming pool after hours at 2:18 a.m.

Police responded at 8:22 a.m. to N1090 825th St., Hager City, for a possible burglary. The suspect was contacted and returned some items taken. He was arrested for a warrant and retail theft – intentionally take.

At 8:42 a.m., police spoke with someone about an assault that had taken place at N673 825th St., Hager City.

At 11:07 a.m., police responded to a motorcycle crash with injury at 742nd Avenue and County Road F, River Falls. The person later died at Regions Hospital.

Deputies assisted Prescott police at 1:44 p.m. near Cherry and Young streets with a wanted person and woman who fled police.

A complainant reported a drug issue/trespassing incident at 2:29 p.m. at N735 835th St., Hager City. The woman refused to let deputies search the property, but a man was informed via voicemail to stay off the property.

At 3:09 p.m., a caller requested police speak with a subject concerning a firework that was thrown near her at W6490 Lake Pepin Blvd., Bay City.

Officers responded at 5:51 p.m. to N5361 760th St., Ellsworth, for a woman passed out near a vehicle. The woman was from a nearby group home and admitted to using heroin. EMS transported her to the hospital.

Deputies attempted a traffic stop at 11:06 p.m. on a vehicle that fled then parked in a driveway at W7453 Highway 10, Ellsworth. The man parked the car and fled on foot. A K-9 track later located the man attempting to go back home, where he was apprehended.

At 11:14 p.m., a caller reported an older man who said he’d wait for a tow until morning for his broken-down vehicle near County Road F and 850th Avenue, River Falls. Police gave him a courtesy ride home and a tow was arranged for morning.

A caller reported a bullet shot into his house at 11:33 p.m. at N2792 830th St., Hager City. Police collected the bullet and took photos.

Monday, July 4

A caller reported an owl struck by a vehicle at 9:48 a.m. near 410th Street and Highway 29, Spring Valley.

Officers received a trespassing complaint at 12:48 p.m. in the area of Highway 35 and 1005th Street South, Hager City. The suspect said she didn’t know it was private property and left when told to.

A suspect was arrested for a Dunn County incident at 2:09 p.m. at 207 N. Birch St., Elmwood.

At 8:21 p.m., a caller reported a drunk woman who may have had a stroke at W6562 870th Ave., River Falls. She denied EMS.

At 11:18 p.m., police responded to N8192 1015th St., River Falls for a fireworks complaint. The homeowner was warned to get a permit.

Police responded at 11:37 p.m. to N8148 1015th St., River Falls for a possible domestic. The complainant’s father was being disorderly, had broken a window and was intoxicated. One man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer.

Tuesday, July 5

At 2:34 a.m. a special weather statement was released for dense fog.

At 5:41 a.m. debris was observed and removed from the roadway near the intersection of Cty. Tk. J and 650th St. in Beldenville.

A warrant search was attempted on 980th St. in Hager City at 7:15 a.m.

A broken-down truck pulling a camper was towed off the roadway at 9:36 a.m. near the intersection of Cty. Tk. BB and 750th Ave. in Spring Valley.

Deputies responded to an address on Cty. Tk. O at 5:14 p.m. after unwanted contact and possible stalking were reported. The male suspect was spoken to, and information was documented.

Deputies responded to an address on 250th Ave. in Hager City to help look for a missing pony at 8:53 p.m. Upon arriving, help was provided getting the pony back into the fence.

Suspicious activity was investigated at an address on 148th Ave. in Bay City after the complainant reported that he was hit by a blue laser while flying his plane. A photograph was provided of the residence.

Wednesday, July 6

Deputies were called to an address on 730th Ave. in Spring Valley after reports of a suspicious male knocking on windows of a home asking for help. It was learned the male rolled his ATV and he was evaluated by EMS.

At 4:59 a.m., deputies were called to Ellsworth near the intersection of W. Old Main St. and W. Main St. for an individual lying in the roadway. The subject was located and carried on. She did not need EMS.
