The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Sept. 20 was Prescott High School senior Anika Fredericks, who was nominated by teacher Anne Kressly.

“Anika is a very hardworking and dedicated student,” Kressly said. “Her creative vision and points of view are unique and stunning.”

Anika is the daughter of Wendy Niesl and Jason Fredericks. This honor roll student plays on the girls golf team, dances, works and enjoys dance, baking and art. She plans to attend college for molecular and cellular biology.

The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Sept. 27 is junior Madison Royal, nominated by computer education teacher Miranda Moore.

“I have had the opportunity to have Madison in several classes over the years she’s attended PHS,” Moore said. “I am continuously impressed with her dedication to her studies and the persistent aspiration she puts toward class tasks and assignments. Madison is an intelligent and delightful student who has shown improvement on getting to class after lunch in a timely manner.”

Madison is the daughter of Briana and Christopher Royal. Besides working and soccer, she participates in track and field. She enjoys running, working out, drawing and listening to music. She hopes to go into the Air Force or one of the other military branches. She’d like to pursue a career as an air traffic controller or something that gives her a lot of adrenaline.
