Dustin Matzke, of Beldenville, Wis., passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 due to injuries from a UTV accident.

Dustin was born on Oct. 16, 1983 to Robert and LaVonne Matzke. He grew up in Spring Valley, Wis., and was a 2002 SVHS graduate. He had an infectious smile and sense of humor that he shared with everyone that he met. The guy you called if you needed a hand - just call me, I’ll be there. And if he couldn’t - he Knew a Guy.

Dustin had many hobbies: farming, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, UTVing, tractor pulls, concerts but his favorite was being with his friends. He was a loyal friend to anyone who knew him. For those who knew Dustin know he would help anyone who needed it. Even a stranger and by the end most likely they would be friends. He would give you the shirt off his back; always thinking of others and just a call away. And if you liked a good story – he had more than one he would share with you. What Dustin had the most of was “heart” and he wore it on his sleeve. Dustin was a hard worker but always found time to enjoy life.

His greatest love that will forever be in his heart was his two boys and partner Meghan (Jones) Budish. He was a loving son, caring brother, and fun supportive uncle. His nieces and nephews will forever remember their last Christmas with him singing Katy Perry karaoke songs.

Dustin is survived by his two sons - Logan and Jaxson Matzke; partner Meghan (Jones) Budish; parents Robert Matzke; LaVonne (Paine) Matzke; sister Beth (Brant) Linderholm, brother-in-law Jesse Johnson; nephews Grahm and Harrison Linderholm, nieces Josie Linderholm and Mila Johnson.

Preceded in death by his sister Shannon and nephew Leo Johnson; also his maternal and paternal grandparents and uncle.

Visitation was held Sunday, May 26 from 3-6 p.m. at Emmaus Church in Spring Valley.
