Here's what is happening at Ellsworth Public Library in June; we have a lot going on as our Summer Library Program begins June 26.

Storytime in the Park - Fridays at 10:10 a.m. in East End Park

June 9 - Special guest Officer Ekholm from the Ellsworth Police Department

June 16 - Special guest from the County Sheriff's Office

June 23 - Special storytime at Cairns Woods

June 30 - Special animal guest(s)

On the Art Walls – Amateur photographer Fred Johnson, of Maiden Rock, will present his “Early Selfies” exhibit in partnership with the Pierce County Historical Association; watch for a special selfie photo opportunity coming soon!

In the local history display June 6 to July 28 we’ll have “The Circus: The Smallest Show on Earth,” by local artist Trudi Schaefer, plus Ellsworth and Pierce County circus history (watch for special related events in July)

Morning Book Club: 10:30 a.m. June 8 in the Meeting Room

Stitchin’ Time Crafters: 10 a.m.  June 12 in the Meeting Room

Tech Time: 10:30 a.m. June 12 in the Study Room. Call the library to sign up for a one-on-one appointment with our tech helper.

Local Author Wade Bergner: 11 a.m. June 13 at Ellsworth Senior Center (312 W. Main St.) Bergner will share his books and publishing journey. A luncheon will be provided after the speaker by the Ellsworth Senior Center and Friends of the Library

St. Croix Valley Job Center: 1-3 p.m. June 15, employment assistance in the Study Room

Community Book Club: 6:30 p.m. June 15, with local author Elise Gregory, in the Meeting Room

Robotics Exploration: 10 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. June 17 in the Makerspace. For ages 8+ (recommended). Registration requested.

Therapy Dog Maggie, 4 p.m. June 19. For any age. Call the library to sign up for your own special session with Maggie.

LEGO at the Library: 3:30-5:30 p.m. June 20 in the Makerspace

Poolside Storytime: Around 2:30 p.m. June 22 at Klaas-Jonal Pool (312 Panther Drive)

Summer Library Program begins: June 26. Reading and activities challenges, chances to earn free books and win prizes

National BINGO Day: 11 a.m. June 27 in the Makerspace. Come play Bingo at the library!

Stitchin’ Time Crafters: 10 a.m. June 28 in the Meeting Room

Summer Library Program Kick-Off Pool Party: 1-3 p.m. June 28. Pick up free passes at the library.

Poolside Storytime: Around 2:30 p.m. June 29, Klaas-Jonas Pool

Together Thursday: June 29 at East End Park. Part of the E3 Summer Fun Series, featuring the DitchLilies at 5:30 p.m. Lions Cub will provide a free meal.

County Park Packs and one-day WI State Park Passes are available at the library this summer! Come in and check them out or get more information.

All Together Now Year-long Reading Challenge continues until December.

The library is open Mondays and Fridays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 388 W. Main St.
