Jeanne E. Anderson, age 89 of River Falls, Wis., died on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the River Falls Area Hospital. Jeanne was born the daughter of Albert and Ella (Hesse) Bruggeman on April 12, 1935. She grew up in Mentor, Minn. Jeanne and her mother moved to Red Lake Falls, Minn., and eventually Jeanne moved to River Falls, Wis., where she spent the past 53 years. She was married to Carmen Anderson on April 26, 1975 at St. Bridget Catholic Church in River Falls.
Jeanne worked as a dietary aide at the River Falls Area Hospital for 35 years. She loved to play bingo and was a long time member of the Women of the Moose and active in the River Falls Moose Lodge.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Elle Bruggeman; husband, Carmen Anderson; siblings, Elaine Bruggeman, Vivion Preusse, Donovan Bruggeman, Harold Bruggeman, Dale Bruggeman, and Roger Bruggeman. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Arlyne Bruggeman and many friends. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery in River Falls. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
