Richard Blair was born to Margaret and Chester Blair on June 25, 1947, and left this world on Nov. 26, 2023. Richard, alongside his soulmate and loving wife Linda, raised their children Sean and Shelly in the warmth of River Falls, Wis.
Richard was a fun-loving and compassionate man that demonstrated a strong faith in our Lord. He thoroughly enjoyed his job as a noon supervisor and bus driver for the Hudson Middle School and was loved by students and parents alike. Richard also found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as training dogs, music, fishing, hiking, and the camaraderie of playing cribbage. His playful spirit and infectious laughter made him a beacon of joy for all who knew him.
Richard is survived by his devoted wife Linda, son Sean (Tracy) and daughter Shelly (Jason), sisters Laurie and Delores, brother Stewart, sister-in-laws Mary (Jack) and Diane, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Richard’s life was a testament to the enduring bonds of family. His legacy will live on through his eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Richard found his greatest happiness in the embrace of family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace with his mother and father.
