Posted

On Dec. 9, 2022, at the age of 58, Roger Randall passed away unexpectedly at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. Roger was formerly from Wabasha, Minn.

Survivors include a son Mitchell (Alicia Sadek) Lucas and Charlotte Randall of Ellsworth, Wis.; brother Dan (Julie) Randall of Holmen, Wis., James Randall of Rochester, and sister Lynn (Jeff) Sandstrom of Wabasha, Minn.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Warren and Donna Randall, and sister Teresa Randall.

Roger was born to Warren and Donna Randall on Oct. 5, 1964. Roger loved the outdoors. As a youngster he was spirited with wonder; he spent much of his time fishing, boating, and camping on the Mississippi River. He graduated from Wabasha-Kellogg High School in 1983, then started learning his trade in welding and plumbing. 1987 Roger married and had one son and later divorced.

Roger took great pride in his son and raised Mitchell in the Ellsworth area. Roger had two adorable grandchildren; Lucas (10) and Charlotte (3). Roger took a sense of purpose and joy helping out Mitchell and Alicia with the family events. It was important for Roger to remain close to his immediate family for and be there for his grandchildren.

Roger was very gifted at his trade and held employment in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. He became a journeyman plumber 1996. Roger was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union for many years. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, hunter, skilled fisherman, loving dad, friend, grandfather, and brother. He was always willing to help out others when needed. We only wish we had longer to enjoy the wonderful person Roger was. There are no words to express our deepest sadness and grief over the sudden loss of our loved one.

Gathering of friends and family will be at Abbott Funeral Home & Crematory, Wabasha, Minn. on Jan. 14, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. Words of sympathy or remembrance may be left at www. abbottfh.com.
