PRESCOTT – It’s mid-May and we are making preparations for summer. We will be posting our summer schedule soon! There are a few days in mid-June when we will be meeting at First National Bank due to electrical work being done at the middle school. We will keep you posted. Pontoon boat trips coming up this summer, one on the morning of Tuesday, July 23 and one on the evening of Thursday, July 18. Sign up is at the Gathering Place. Limited to 10 passengers each trip, $10.
Potluck lunches at noon continue on Tuesday, June 4 and Tuesday July 2 with a fall kick-off potluck picnic at noon Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Freedom Park.
Wednesday, May 22: Play cards with your friends at 12:30 p.m. for Euchre and 1 p.m. for Bridge. Treats and great fellowship available!

Thursday, May 23: Pickleball starts at 9 a.m. at Prescott Intermediate School (125 Elm St. N.) in the gym or outside at Lions Park, depending on the weather. The monthly movie will be shown at 1 p.m., featuring “Still Alice.” Popcorn will be provided.

Tuesday, May 28: Mahjongg is at 9 a.m.; beginners are welcome. The walking group meets at 9 a.m. at the Middle School parking lot, near Door 5. Pickleball starts at 9 a.m. at Prescott Intermediate School in the gym or outside at Lions Park, depending on the weather. The Book Club meets at 1 p.m. to discuss the May book, “Slaughterhouse Five,” by Kurt Vonnegut. The June book, “The Forest of Vanishing Stars” by Kristin Harmel, will be distributed.

Thursday, May 30: Gathering Place will be closed.
Senior Gathering Place is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We are located at 1220 St. Croix St. at the Prescott Middle School. It is open to any Senior 55 years old and older.
