PRESCOTT – I hope you all had a relaxing Memorial Day weekend and kept all our fallen military members in your prayers!
This next week starts our official summer schedule.
PLEASE NOTE: The Gathering Place will be closed June 17-July 1 due to no electricity in the building—all activities normally meeting at the Gathering Place will move to the First National Bank’s lower level conference room.

Wednesday, May 29: Euchre card game is played at 11:30 p.m. and Bridge is played at 1 p.m.

Thursday, May 30: Senior Gathering Place is closed. Pickleball will be played at 9 a.m. at Lions Park, across from the Prescott Intermediate School.

Tuesday, June 4: Walking group meets at 9 a.m. at the middle school parking lot; pickleball will meet at 9 a.m. at Lions Park courts across from Prescott Intermediate School. Mahjongg will be played at 9 a.m. in room G9. All skill levels welcome. At noon, the monthly potluck will take place. Bring a dish to pass, a friend and your appetite!

Wednesday, June 5: Program and Publicity committees meet at 10 a.m. in room G5. At 12:30 p.m., Euchre will be played, followed by Bridge at 1 p.m.

Thursday, June 6: Pickleball will be played at Lions Park at 9 a.m. across from Prescott Intermediate School.

Friday, June 7: Memory Cafe 10-11:30 a.m. Memory Cafe meets in the lower level of First National Bank.

Monday, June 10: Meet members at 10 a.m. in room G5 for spring cleaning. Come help sort out stuff and clean room G5!

Tuesday, June 11: Walking group meets at 9 a.m. in the MS parking lot near room G5. Pickleball will be played at 9 a.m. at Lions Park across from the Intermediate School. Mahjongg will be played at 9 a.m. in room G5; all skill levels are invited. Social meeting is at 1 p.m. with coffee and treats. Come chat with old and new friends.

Wednesday, June 12: Meet for Euchre at 11:30 a.m., Bridge at 1 p.m.
Boating on the Mississippi takes place 1-3 p.m. Thursday, July 18; sign up at Gathering Place by July 9. Limit of 10 people, $10 each.
A second Boating on the Mississippi takes place from 10 am to noon Tuesday, July 23 with sign up by July 9. Limit of 10 people, $10 each.
Book club meets the fourth Tuesday of the month; this month’s book is “The Forest of the Vanishing Stars” by Kristin Harmel.
Prescott Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. (Prescott Middle School), Door G5. All seniors aged 55 years and older are welcome.
