Susan Renta, age 53, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. Despite battling Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma (EHE) for the past four years, she faced each day with a courageous smile, unafraid like the waves, and with an unwavering spirit.
Susan and Pedro were married on Aug. 5, 1995, and together built their home in Hudson, where they were blessed with two boys, Mateo and Andre. Susan took great pride in her boys’ achievements and was a devoted sports mom, always cheering them on and eager to make new friends.
Susan cherished her role at Horizon Financial, the people she worked with, and the opportunity God gave her to positively impact people’s lives.
She adored her home, front porch, dancing, traveling, girls’ weekends, road trips, cheering for the Packers, spending time with friends and family, reading the Bible, and most of all, her faith in God.
Susan will remain in the hearts of her husband Pedro Renta, sons Mateo and Andre, mother Darlyne Huppert, siblings Debra Walsingham (Jack), Mike Huppert (Kelly), Madonna Huppert, Mitch Huppert (Anne), Annette Grant (Jim), Rachel Pirius, nieces, nephews, the Renta family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Huppert, nephew Harrison Grant and father-in-law Pedro Renta Sr.
A celebration of Susan’s life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Ellsworth Rod & Gun, 3930 WI-72, Ellsworth, WI 54011. The celebration will commence at noon with a service at 1 p.m., followed by an open house from 2-5 p.m. We encourage you to bring stories and memories to share. Memorials preferred to the EHE Foundation. We love you Mom!
