ELLSWORTH – Lions International is the world's largest humanitarian organization. Your local club raises funds through raffles, service hours to other local non-profit organizations, and food wagon sales. We volunteer our service hours to a variety of community events as well.
How do the Lions use the funds we raise? Here’s a list of local recipients:
ECSD graduate scholarships
Basics for Local Kids
Hunger Prevention Council-Pierce County
Christmas Gift Box Program
Panther Closet
ECSD School Carnival
St. Francis School Gala
Community Park flowers and decorations
Eyeglasses requests
Empower E3 Grant
Community events: Together Thursdays, school supply collection, Holly Jolly Holiday and Pierce County Friends of the Fair
The Club would like to inform our community organizations and residents of our mailing address. We would like requests for service hours and/or financial support mailed to our Club address at Ellsworth Lions, PO Box 215, Ellsworth, WI 54011. We also accept requests through our Facebook page, Ellsworth Lions Club. Send us a private message and our Board of Directors will make recommendations to the members to approve.
The Ellsworth Lions have been serving this community since 1930 and welcome you to join us. Our next meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 26 at the American Legion, 139 S. Oak St., Ellsworth. We Serve.
